Happy Birthday Cancer!
June 21 – July 22
The Crab
Cancer is a cardinal water sign. Water expresses the ebbs and flows of our emotions. Cardinal signs kick off a season. Cancer welcomes us into summer. It is a passive sign, highlighting the feminine qualities., embodying family, home, a nurturing disposition, loving kindness and occasionally – moodiness.
When you think of a crab, it has a protective, hard shell on the outside, and it is soft and tender on the inside. The same is true for the Cancer personality.
These cool Crabs tend to be a little more reserved. They are extremely nurturing and very loving. They can be hypersensitive, but they don’t necessarily show those emotions. You may be blissfully unaware when a tsunami of emotions is going on inside of them because of their cool exterior.
Thanks to their nurturing, tender-hearted personality combined with their ability to keep their composure under pressure, people see them as this source of strength. People naturally flock to the Crab for help when people are having a personal crisis. Unlikely to melt down, cry or get angry, people who fall under the sign of Cancer set aside their own troubles and give a helping hand to a friend in need. This is a person who can easily navigate through life’s ups and downs. They are that trusted friend you can always talk to and turn to for support. Others view the Cancerian as very loving and compassionate. And so they are naturally someone people turn to. They are looked at as a strong person who isn’t intimidating, just loving and is going to show them compassion. They’re very maternal, very nurturing – men and women alike.
But remember that the shell does hide those inner emotions. Realize that you don’t always see everything a cancer is feeling. They are very moody or can get a little crabby., It can come out, but you don’t always see it. That’s basically cancer in a nutshell: family, home, love, with a touch of moodiness.
This month we celebrate the Crabs’ birthdays. We love you. Thanks for always being there for the rest of us when we are drowning. You are our lifeguards in life.
