The Bull
The qualities of earth are cool, dry and feminine. Passive. Think of Mother Earth. The earth signs in astrology are Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. Each of these signs is either fixed, mutable, or cardinal. Taurus is a fixed earth sign.
Fixed signs neither kick off a season, nor do they end a season. They are smack dab in the thick of it, making them the most like their element.
Earth is slow and resistant to change. It offers stability and practicality. This may be why you and your fellow Taureans are seen as being so stubborn and bull-headed. ‘The Bull’ is hard to budge. Although once you get going, you charge onward in the direction you have chosen.
It may take some convincing or at times be slow in making commitments. However, once you have committed yourself to a person, company, or idea, you are loyal, loving, generous, and stable. It will take a lot for you to be swayed away from that which you have already determined to be the right path.
Perhaps because of this, your work ethic is great. You are hardworking. Your common sense, practicality, and intelligence help you in making difficult decisions. You like a well thought out plan and prefer to take your time and get it right, rather than impulsively rush into things and figure them out along the way.
